mewgenics: gamescom ONL 2026 announcement details
mewgenics at gamescom ONL 2026: the PlayStation Blog recap lists Nicalis, McMillen Games, PlayStation 5, and a September 8 release date.
What was confirmed
Mewgenics appeared in PlayStation Blog’s gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live recap. The entry lists Nicalis as publisher, McMillen Games as developer, PlayStation 5 as the platform, and September 8 as the stated release date.
The cited recap does not attach a year to that September 8 date. This page therefore keeps the date exactly at that level and does not add a year.
The stated game description
PlayStation Blog describes Mewgenics as a roguelite that combines turn-based cat tactics with breeding. Its recap also mentions manipulating genes, abilities, items, and appearances across generations.
Those points describe the announcement entry, not a complete mechanics or platform guide. This page does not add a price, a release year, or platforms that are not in the cited record.
